Why IGF-1 LR3?
IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Long Arg3) is a highly modified, synthetic version of naturally occurring IGF-1. It has been structurally altered with an extended 13-amino-acid chain and an arginine substitution at the third position.
These structural modifications prevent the peptide from being neutralized by IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs). As a result, IGF-1 LR3 possesses a significantly longer half-life (up to 20-30 hours) and exponentially higher biological potency compared to standard IGF-1.
